I can understand if you really want a salad and McDonald's is your only option. However, if it's next to a local sub shop that has bomb ass soups, salads, and spuds, you're an asshole. Yeah...it always baffled me back home why you would bother with McDonalds when there's a local burger stand that uses real beef/ingredients that is literally 2 minutes away. Same situation with subway and really good subs RIGHT next door. Just...why. They cost the same! Ok, maybe $2 more or something but COMMON!

McDonald's is lightning fast when you just want a burger. The two local burger joints I frequent (one is literally right across the street from my house) usually have a 15 - 20 minute wait and their hours are brief. 11am-5pm Mon-Thurs, 10am - 6pm Fri & Sat. But oh man do I love both of them.

Generally if i get anything from McDonald's its off the dollar menu or fries (you have to try really hard to fuck up fries). There is literally no other places to get burgers where i live at least if you dont want to drive I usually walk. Theres way too much fast food here.

Dollar menu stuff is okay for what you pay for it, Quarter Pounders are sort of decent but 4 dollars is way too much for what they are.

I don't think anyone has ever confused McDonald's with quality beef. "Mostly meat" is appropriate. What meat that is I'm sure I don't want to know. Just hand it over in seconds and leave me on my way.

I love McDonalds. The problem I have with a good privately owned business is the size of the patties. I hate big juicy burgers. Quarter pounders are too big for me. McDonalds burgers are the perfect size for me, and I honestly would rather have their burgers over most others. I know that sounds really stupid, but I like small meat patties. The condiments are more important to me.

I know I'm in the minority, but I'm okay with that.  I like my home made burgers, but I make real small skinny patties.  We actually take 2 1/4 lb. burgers and make them into three patties.

One time I went into a burger bar and on the menu all of the patties were reading "1/2 lb. burger". I asked them if they had any smaller patties, and they didn't.

Weird. Apart from tasting good I mainly like my patties to feel like they're actually made of ground beef. Like, still holding together but not crushed into a tiny disk like at most fast food joints. For size I just want a well proportioned burger that doesn't stick out too much and isn't overwhelmed by bun.

I want a thick, juicy burger, preferably topped with a second meat. Chili, bacon, and pulled pork are the best of those, but pastrami, carnitas, and lamb gyro are pretty great too.

I just want my burger medium rare that is the most important thing. I think swiss is the best cheese to put on burgers too

I used to like bacon, fried onions, and hot sauce with ranch or bbq sauce. Ulcers have now rendered me dull.

i order something with 2 day shipping and amazon sends it from the closest warehouse and it was in the next town over last night and I'm like cool I'll have it tommorow (today), but NO instead of delivering it to me UPS gives it to my post office which is just downtown here.

They are building an enormous Amazon warehouse in Wisconson, just a little south of Milwaukee that should be opening sometime next year. So once that opens and assuming stuff you buy ships from there, it will come lightning fast for you!

Instead they came when I told them I'd be gone and they didn't even say where the package was being held. I had to go to two UPS stores before I learned my package was at a totally different place across town

I honestly wish more companies would ship with the USPS over UPS and Fedex. The USPS gets my packages to me on time consistently. Half the time, Fedex and UPS can't even find my house. They don't seem to know their assholes from their mouths. Maybe their service in my area just sucks.
