Again, I only hesitate recommending Bravely Default because it starts SO good and ends SO bad.

I really love Tropical Freeze. A bunch of little things has made this click with me so much more than DKCR did. I've been going for KONG letters and hidden levels. I still have to finish the final world, but it has been excellent. Will likely be high on my GotY list at year's end.

Resogun is really kicking my ass. I can't seem to finish Ceres on Experienced without being unlucky enough to hit by a bullet or a ship of some kind.

I finally beat RE4 today. Great game, though as someone who doesn't keep up with the franchise I can't help but feel cheated by the ending. Oh well, I didn't care about the story much anyway. It's all about the zombie shooting

Now I have to find another game to remove from my backlog.

I'm really impressed too. The shooting and enemy AI are top notch and my fears about enemy placement aren't as bad as I thought. It's still not as good as Halo and there are some cram too many enemy moments, but they do put them in good spots for the most part. Not as good as Halo's, but something they can iron out for the sequel.

One of the best parts is just exploring the worlds. The art direction is fantastic in this game, every time I get a new planet or area I love the sights it has to offer.

Destiny looks incredible. I almost get vertigo with how responsive everything is. Very different from the Beta. Like they optimized it for PS4. How is it on PS3, Kay?

*edit* That was honestly a genuine question. Reading it back it makes me look like a dick. Sorry.

it only sounds like a dick question cause you asked it Razz

but anyway the graphics arent that great, but the art direction makes up for it. Venus and the moon have some really cool areas. Controls are more responsive than in the beta, and my main gun (handcannon) got buffed quite a bit and now im popping off headshots without effort

Downloaded Don't Starve: Giant Edition to my Vita yesterday and played it quite a bit during work breaks. I'm convinced that between the PS4 and Vita versions, the latter is the best way to play it.

I finished up DKC Tropical Freeze the other night. This is the first DKC that I've truly loved. The traditional levels are some of the best platforming around. The rest of them certainly aren't, but the good stuff is so good it doesn't bother me too much.

Started up San Andreas, and I can say it annoys me just like I thought it would. I'm sure it'll pick up, but I remember reading about the game before it came out and it centering around gangs and drive by shootings, etc... and not at all being interested. Samuel L. Jackson is nice to hear though. I always liked Grand Theft Auto games because of their mafia related stories. Hopefully I get that at some point.

Played through act 2 of Kentucky Route Zero. I love the mood in this game. It's the perfect game to play just before going to bed. Don't ask me to explain the story but the gameplay is basically an honest version of The Walking Dead. Can't suggest it to anyone at full price, though, especially because I think it would be quite polarizing.

Finally got a chance to finish my first run in Diablo 3. I want to try Adventure Mode, but might take a break to jump into Destiny a bit.

Beat Walking Dead season 2. Liked it more than 1 overall. I know a lot of people were saying it couldn't stack up, but no one was really going on about how good season 1 was until episode 5. And honestly, while still good, season 1 could feel like a greatest hits from the comics while this did its own thing. The final confrontation especially felt more original and I felt like how the outcomes all felt unexpected sent a strong message: It's tough to judge morality and what's best for a situation. You sometimes have to just go with your gut and even that may not be enough.

I'm excited to play it now that I've finally got my DS3 working with my computer properly now. I really didn't like the idea of playing Walking Dead with a mouse and keyboard (especially when you have to mash. I feel that can't be good for a keyboard)

At the urge of my friends I picked up 999 again and am enjoying it! But it's like "CONVERT THIS INTO HEXIDECIMAL...K?! BYE!" And I'm like "...little help?" I mean, how the hell am I supposed to know that.

Also playing RE4 HD on Steam which is just as great as I remember but good lord I am not doing so good for ammo right now.

Got up to level 70 in Diablo 3. I thought I'd have a sense of completion... but as soon as it hit all of this other stuff opened up and now I feel like I've only just begun. This game is really scratching that loot grind itch that I have a tendency to get really addicted to. I'm not sure if I'm going to jump back to Destiny or just keep grinding away on on Diablo until I am sick of it.

Double post... haha I'm having a video game day! I just finished up season 2 of The Walking Dead. Kind of underwhelming. Part of me wishes they would have just gone with a whole new cast of characters. I think they were a little hamstrung having to continue Clemintine's story.
Spoiler:
It looks like her story will continue in season 3 too... but they could resolve it with DLC... They had it for season 1, but I bet they'll give her another full season.
Either way, I did still enjoy the game and will happily continue playing the series. Hopefully as it transitions to the current gen consoles it runs a little better.

Picked up FIFA 15. I'm sure everyone on here is buying it as well, so I"ll play anyone that wants to.

Looks like an easier platinum as opposed to the last game, so that's a plus!

I started up Blue Dragon again, and god i remember this game being a breeze before, but the Hard Mode DLC holy shit now I'm getting my ass kicked. Throat hurts from cussing so much, but I'll be damned if this doesnt make the game 10x better

I got Super Mario 3D World for my birthday and played a couple hours earlier. Great fun. Love playing as Peach. And the catsuit and cherry power-ups are really cool.
