I've come to notice there are quite a few talented artists here, so I figure that rather than sharing our pieces in the Face Station thread, that we have an actual artwork thread. Smile Whether it be traditional artwork, digital paintings, or even artwork in the form of jack-o-lanterns and other types of crafts and projects.

I did this piece for a friend in NY. It's a pose from Ratchet and Clank, but with a Star Wars theme. I'd like to recreate it for myself, someday.

I was bored on this day, and wanted to make something FF related.

Agrias from FFT. Still one of my favorite strong, FF, female characters.

I used a male model as a reference for this original character someone on Deviantart had me draw for them.

My newest piece that I'd like to finish during my summer break. It's far from done, but it's acrylic on hardwood.

Thanks, Chocobot. I enjoyed making that piece a lot. I like how Cactuar turned out the most. A friend wanted to buy it from me, but I just liked it too much just to sell. Smile

I was going to wait to post this when I actually finish it but I don't see that happening anytime soon because I'm lazy. Anyway, woo acrylic painting:

Woah! That's an amazing painting! Never played the game but I can tell it is great!

If you ever feel the need to do an acrylic painting from Final Fantasy VII I would never stop you. Not ever.

Great job, Choco! The picture shows a lot of texture on the painting, and I think that's awesome. I'm assuming you used a regular canvas? I'm currently working on an acrylic on wood (3/4" plywood) and am digging the medium. We'll see how it turns out in the end, though.

I can't wait to see your finished result! Smile

It looks like you might have made a little progress since you showed me. You said you were lazy back then too Razz It's beautiful, not as much as you though <3

You should do more like this I'd love to see it Smile

Thanks everyone!

Yeah, it's just a regular canvas, Lenny. I like a lot of texture on paintings so I try to get the effect with liquitex gel medium. There might be more effective ways but I'm just using whatever I have for now lol.

Nice! I've never heard of liquitex gel until now. After googling more information on it, it really makes me think that I need to try it out on something, someday.

I'm actually really excited for Burials next month. The tracks I've heard sound promising. Like a fusion of Sing the Sorrow and Crash Love. Maybe I'll try covering one of AFI's older tracks though i dont have any decent recording eQuipment so we'll see how it turns out lol.

I think I'm more committed now because my classes don't start back up for another week and a half. :p Hahaha. Once they do, however... I'll do my best but no guarantees, SPIDDY! Especially with the course load I'm taking this fall term. Sad

I don't think it needs to be limited to drawing. If people are good at Photoshop, singing, photography, etc... I don't see it as necessarily a problem. Smile
