Twitch Announcements

I just wanted to create a new topic where people can share their Twitch accounts and announce their livestreams. I felt kinda bad for continuously announcing it over in the Now Playing thread. Likewise, if anyone else is interested in sharing their livestreams, we have a place to announce them.

With that said, although I should be working on writing 4 essays(~20 pages) that are all due roughly around the same time next week, I thought I'd announce that I'll be playing a little bit of Skyrim soon. Hope to chat with you via Twitch, for those that are available.

I'm gonna check out the app next time I get an email notification about you doing something. Not sure how naming works, but until I get further into might I suggest putting the game you're gonna broadcast in the title. Last email I got was something akin to "Lenny likes to be as vague as the notifications associated with Twitch".

The program itself is fun so the app should be comprehensive but I won't know until I get an appropriately titled notification

Gonna Twitch a game called Tiny Brains I'm reviewing tomorrow. Played some today and it's pretty good. Co-op puzzle game where you each play as a different lab animal with unique powers, but lets you switch between them if you do it solo.

This thread would be good. I never seem to catch your guys tweets about this. My timeline is honestly kind of a clusterfuck at this point.

Watching Lenny play is great haha. I cant help and advise him on the game like some of the other viewers do but its fun to be there and chat while watching him makes his way through the game. I tried streaming from my PC but it was a complete disaster so I might just be doing the PS4 streaming for the time being. Surprisingly I got my highest amount of viewers when I decided to stream Sound Shapes. Luckily I did not have my mic on that night because I was quite agitated and was swearing an awful lot haha.

@Pspiddy - Yeah, I'm not too sure about the titles either. I assume that it was just where you put your channel name, but I'll be sure to change it next time. Perhaps I need to change it EACH time? No idea.

@Volvo - Let us know when you do. I'd like to sit in to see some of what's going on

@Trip - I think Twitter is a clusterfuck in-and-of itself. I find it practically impossible to track any given person's tweets unless I go to their page

@Killa - Hahha. Thanks, man! It was good to have you and Avid there to watch the last couple of times, regardless of whether you could help me out with advice or not. It made it even more interactive for me. I had planned to log off as soon as you both called it a night, but I kept playing and got some new armor and a new summon/conjur spell! I feel addicted to Skyrim now. When all was said-and-done, I livestreamed for almost 11 hours! (I had no idea!!!)

I'll try to make a new highlight reel of everything that took place during that playthrough as soon as I convert the video from FLV to AVI.

So I was going to start writing my essays, today, but I want to play some more Skyrim! I'll be on Twitch for those of you that are interested.

To celebrate my freedom from the fall term and finals week, I'm going to start livestreaming on Twitch in a little bit for anyone that wants to sit in and watch. I need my Skyrim fix!

Was fun watching you fight a dragon! Keep following that questline and you should end up with a house -which you have to pay for- in that city. Thieves Guild there is also worth joining because they have some slick +sneak gear. It's leather so it might not be what you're aiming for.

Who else here does Twitch? I've got Killa and Lenny added but I'll add more if you guys are broadcasting. It's really easy to use and if you don't broadcast you can still go snoop on your friends and talk smack! I'm not sure about their privacy thing though. So far they just send me emails when a friend is broadcasting or there's an event. It doesn't seem as bad as google so far.

I actually tried to join the Thieves Guild, but it wouldn't let me because I suffered from vampirism; so I found a way to cure it, and am in Morthal now, working on becoming the Thane of that area. Killed another dragon while I was there, and have a mission to kill a dragon for the Jarl too. God, I love that I'm on winter break now.

@Krubix - I'm not entirely sure. I just built a new pc and so far I have no issues.

Twitching Black Flag @8pm CST for about an hour. Until the Rockets start. This is my first AC since I tried -and failed- the first one.

Sorry I had to run. Was first chance I really had to watch one of you guys for an extended period and it was pretty neat. Would definitely tune in for some open-world pirate shenanigans.

I really like Twitch. I hope more people here start to use it. You can turn the microphone and Playstation eye on or off so that's cool. And the format is totally unobtrusive on PS4. Have yet to try it on PC.

I'll try and broadcast often so anyone who is wary can come check it out and talk smack. Although I don't rap or sing like Lenny so you might be disappointed.

Side note: Trip, you're a dick for leaving me to sit through the Animus crap on my own. After you left I got stuck in an elevator for a minute because I didn't pay attention to a damn word said. Stupid.

Damn looks like I missed your broadcast. Definitely will try and make the next one hopefully. And I will try to get back to broadcasting soon when I get some different games. All I have been playing lately on the PS4 is Resogun and Im not sure if people will keep wanting to watch that. I tried getting streaming to work on my PC but its been a disaster. That will probably have to wait until I finish getting my new desktop built. My poor little laptop just doesn't handle it well.

It probably looked a lot more stressful than it was, but I could always see what I did wrong. Glad you guys stopped by though, it was more fun having you there.

I'm disappointed I couldn't watch this too. Seemed ripe for some MST3000 style commentary.

Awwww, man! Wish I was able to see it! Had a going away party/end of fall term party at my house yesterday. Make sure that your account settings are set to auto-archive, so that people can watch replays of your broadcasts. I'd like to check it out sometime.

PS4 can't archive yet but there si supposed to be a patch next year for it.

Bummer!! But at least it's coming. I guess that just means until then, I've gotta catch you guys livesteaming.

Speaking of which, I'm going to start up Skyrim for a couple of hours, at least until 8/9pm (PST). Feel free to drop by and help me out. My first mission is try to achieve Thane of Morthal(?) and the first thing on my list of things to do is to kill the dragon! I'll start it up in about 5-10 minutes.
