Re: Sports Lounge
It was definitely a little of both. Seattle was great, but Denver played terrible. I mean some of the tackling in the defensive backfield, bad discipline on outside runs and throw in the kick coverage on the return and the safety, Denver did not play well.
Re: Sports Lounge
This thread needs a revival! The brackets should be released today. Are we doing the bracket challenge on CBS Sports again this year?

Well then I guess you're never going to talk about college sports then, because neither of those things are going to happen! Haha
I'm very excited about MLB starting. I got a 20-game pack with my dad this year (we usually do 10) for the Brewers and Opening Day is the 31st already! I can't freaking wait. I don't think my Brew Crew will be contending for a World Series or anything, but they'll play competitive ball. No matter how good your team is, nothing beats going to a ball game on a warm summer day. Nothing.

We just got our season tickets today for the Angels. Can't wait for season to start, last year could be painful, but like Matt said, it's so much fun watching your team at the ball park no matter how bad they are.

Haha, oh come on now... it's not the Brewers fault. It was MLB and Bud Selig. If anything, blame the Rays and the D'Backs. It was those teams being added that caused so much change. Although I do like the National League game so much better. And I do think it sucks that the Astros aren't in the division anymore. I always liked watching the Brewers play down at Minute Maid. That's a cool stadium with the hill and the short porch in left. Its really not fair you guys are stuck in the AL now. Give it a few years though, you'll build up a solid team.

Re: Sports Lounge
I threw together a last minute bracket group in case anyone wants to join. Going to see if I can get some friends to join:

Password is: madness
Matt if you want to invite some friends to help fill the group out go ahead. At least we'll have a place to compare brackets if nothing else.

Re: Sports Lounge
I tried to talk to some people tonight. About 6 said they'd do it, but who knows if they will actually fill out a bracket by tomorrow.
Re: Sports Lounge
New York lost the friggin series against the A's. What the hell...
Watching the final game against Boston right now. Hopefully they can win this series.
Also, Tanaka. I Need to see him pitch more. A pitcher from Japan that nobody has seen that's got like, 6+ pitches should be a great asset.
[edit] so, seconds after I post this there's ANOTHER injury. Holy crap. [/edit]
[edit] and ANOTHER injury. I don't even... [/edit]

Re: Sports Lounge
I was enjoyed that Clips/Warriors game, but man the officiating was frustrating.
I am a Sixers fan (I know), so I don't have a horse in the playoffs. Hoping for someone other than the Spurs/Heat to win it all. I'm not being picky here!
