I don't watch ESPN nearly as much as I used to. I rarely go there for written content anymore. I usually stick to Sports Illustrated or local sites. The one part of ESPN that is absolutely fantastic is Grantland.com. It's a combo between sports and pop culture, but they have such a great group of people working there.

Have you tried watching Fox Sports 1? Its a nice change of pace to ESPN. And there's always Charissa Thompson. So hot...

Fox Sports 1 also plays soccer, which is always a plus for me.

Holy shit, I'm in this thread. But I had a thought. I miss having American sports on the TV. I don't even follow sports but there's something very homey about having a game on in a restaurant or something.

I still prefer watching muay thai to most MMA fights I've seen. I don't know why, I just find the style of fighting a little sloppy. But maybe that's because I've mostly seen heavyweights go at it.

My picks for Wild Card weekend are Chiefs, Eagles, Bengals and 49ers. I love this time of year. A little nervous that the Niners have to go to Green Bay and play but I hope that can take care of business.

I will be at Lambeau freezing my ass off hoping the Niners cannot take care of business. High of 1 degree tomorrow in Green Bay. Hooray!

I have the same picks as Killa. This Chiefs/Colts game is insane.

I hope you guys continue to be wrong with your picks today as well!

EDIT* I am sorry the Eagles lost for you guys, (Trip and Hagen). Losing in the playoffs is soul crushing. As a neutral fan of both games yesterday that was some great football. The only good part about the Saints winning is it gives the Packers a slight chance to host another playoff game if they can keep winning AND we don't have to go to Seattle if we win today.

How many Super Bowls would Peyton Manning have to win to be considered better than Tom Brady? Or do you think he's better already. I have been pondering this and was curious what you guys think.

I'd put Manning over Brady. But I really hate Brady, so I'm not the best one to ask about this.

As good as Peyton Manning is it will be hard for me to actually say hes better than Tom Brady. I love how smart Manning is and how he can basically be not only the Quarterback but the Offensive Coordinator at the same time. That being said Brady's stats are comparable and hes managed to get more wins in the playoffs when it counts and more Superbowl rings. Since Greenman was honest about his hatred of Brady I will admit to being a big fan of his so I might be biased as well.

I don't like Brady. Seems like a douche, but I definitely have him ahead of Peyton at the moment. Brady's playoff record is just so far ahead (18-7 to 10-11). Manning has come up small in some big playoff games too. I think if Manning could get a second Super Bowl ring it would certainly help even the scales, but I'm not sure what it'd take to tip them.

Tom Brady should have 5 super bowl rings. A miracle catch and a Wes Welker drop denied him of 2 extra super bowls. Look at what he did this year with a bunch of rookies after losing a murderer, his favorite receiver, and Gronkowski.

Everyone always thinks he's douchey but I don't really know why. Most people I ask say "He just is." Hopefully Trip can give me a more elaborate answer.

Just watch how nice he is in Entourage.

1st quarter: Broncos 14/Seahawks 9
2nd quarter: Broncos 22/Seahawks 12
3rd quarter: Broncos 31/Seahawks 17
4th quarter: Broncos 40/Seahawks 31
Me: Filthy fucking rich off my pool. I don't care how improbable these scores are

You make a good point. Let's give him those two Super Bowls. So he's up to five. Wait hold on. He won one because of the tuck rule. Even the NFL knew that was bullshit so they changed the rule. Oh and you know what the other two he won while they were spying on other teams playcalling, so let's not count them. But hey he has those other two now! Not bad.

As for his douchiness, is dumping your pregnant girlfriend for a supermodel enough evidence? Or do you want more?

Despite hating Brady, I am 100% in favor of giving him Eli's rings.

At one point I heard the announcer say that every member of the Denver team played there worst game. What I saw was a Seattle defense that dominated the game and a Seattle offense that did what needed to be done. It was as if they were saying "Seattle won because Denver played like shit." Give credit where credit is due.
