There's more of course like Pokemon, Mass Effect, and Spider-Man, but that was the only one three that could get my favorites from food, games, movies and TV a at once.

I'd replace your Simpson's with Spider-Man. He's my favorite super hero, besides Buffy of course.

i dont think i got the McD's job but i applied for a position at goodwill which has been open for 20 days and looks like it hasnt had any takers so i sent that in. I never thought about this place before I know there wont be a billion other applicants at this one so my chances go up.

I have like literally NO experience outside of paper routes and one dinky locally owned convenience store, and those really dont seem to count much, but this looks like something i could get. Fingers crossed

I think you were a little late to the application party at Wal-Mart. Typically they start their holiday hiring around September/October.

I think i was a late to everything. I spent October moping when i should have been applying, but this job at goodwill looks good enough for now hoping to get it. There shouldn't be a lot of corporate bs there.

@spiddy
I miss that convenience store. it was nice and i didnt have to do much and i was hired. it was in a town with a population of like 700 though so. Don't think there's any import stores around here though.

I don't live in a huge town, but is there a place that gets workers in line for temp jobs (temp as in temporary)? We have one in our town that just loans out people to places in need of help, and sometimes the temp gets in for a full time job. Just a thought.

@Chocobot I didn't get into Metroid right away as well, infact Metroid Prime 3 was the very first Metroid game I ever played back in 2008. I loved it so much which could be why I like 3 more than the first 2 Prime games but they are still good games. That Trilogy is something you don't want to get rid of, considering what aftermarket prices are. It's probably my most valuable game in my library of games. Curious, did you get the regular one or the tin case one?

Pizza, Seinfeld, Sopranos, Final Fantasy VII and mildly Lord of the Rings.

I think we've got a solid base.

Pizza, Seinfeld, and Sopranos should be in everyone's list. The other ones are really just personal taste. There's no flaws with pizza, Seinfeld, and the Sopranos though.

Nothing wrong with Sopranos finale, and you can't hold back pizza because of pizza hut. What don't you like about pizza hut by the way? It's not my favorite, but I don't hate it.

Oh, I love pizza. Especially with pepperoni and red onions, it's just not my all time favorite. But still, fuck Pizza Hut.

Hating Pizza over Pizza Hut would indeed be like hating burgers because of burger king.

I agree with Bret, nothing wrong with the Sopranos finale. Still gives me the heebly jeeblies when I think about it.

in a way a spoiler below if you're ever planning on watching sopranos, so don't read.  i'd do that spoiler stuff, but not really sure how to.

Spoilers for the Sopranos ending also Bret is terrible at Spoiler tags:
Everything about that final scene just worked for me.  The family man, Tony Soprano, eating (what he does best on this show) some onion rings.  I've never been a fan of Journey, but that song was perfect for that scene.  All of these happy scenes with his family, but so much paranoia as well.  When you're a mob boss, you're always going to be looking over your shoulder, and that's what I took from that ending.  It actually makes me feel happy when I think about it.

I think I figured it out.

Maybe not.  It appears as if I just put it in a white box?

Seinfeld and Sopranos wouldn't be on my list so I guess I'm not everyone. Just replace those with FFVII and Lord of the Rings I guess. Does that still make me one of the cool kids??

I unfortunately didn't get the super valuable tin case Metroid Trilogy. Still, I'm happy I was able to get the game at all at a reasonable price Very Happy

The only real tv shows i ever got into were Charmed, and Bones, and I'm not a huge fan of FFVII. I'd rather play Chrono Cross.

All things considered though I'd rather just eat the pizza and burgers with a beautiful woman.

@Choco: Nope, you are EXPELLED from the cool people club. You'll just have to look in through the windows and tap the glass when you want to contribute

Kay's would be: boobs, asian chicks and distinctly japanese games

When it said hidden, I just assumed it was the one. When it appeared it wasn't, I just lost interest. Thanks for whoever fixed it though.

Choco, you picked 3 so you're a cool kid.

Let's not discriminate against any dogs now. :0 I'd love to have a bigger dog but my french bulldog only weighs 30 lbs and knocks me over by jumping on me.

@Twolf, you're cruel. So cruel *stares from outside the window*

Oh no, not the cat-dog debate again. I'll take both. Worse is clearly lenny's big dog elitist agenda. Jak is only 30 pounds and totally a dog.
