Don't you know the first rule about retro rereleases? Only beat em ups and fighting games get online play added in.

This is EXTREMELY YMMV(your market may vary)- I stopped by Target on the way home and saw Professor Layton DS series on the end-aisle display for $10. That's insanely good pricing for those games. Last Specter, Diabolical Box, and one of the more recent titles is what I saw. I probably fucked up those names, but anyone interested gets the gist.

Gamestop has Assassins Creed 3 for $29.99 now - not that I have the cash on hand, but if I did, and since I never played the others, good deal? I've heard it's not the greatest, but the setting has to count for something, right?

The Walking Dead gets a discount, as well as Rainbow Moon. Anyone play Rainbow Moon? Looks good, but it says it is a strategy RPG and those are my least favorite RPG games.

I noticed Tomb Raider PSone/PSP series and Legacy of Kain PSone series are on sale. Legacy of Kain will probably work on Vita if you transfer from PS3. I'll try it when I download them later.

*edit* I can confirm that Legacy Of Kain: Soul Reaver works on Vita after transferring from PS3. If/When I buy Blood Omen I'll update you guys if it transfers as well. If anyone besides me gives a fuck about the games...which are awesome...

Gamestop has B2G1 DS and Wii. I did research on the DS games and the best deal would be any combination of the 2 Kingdom Hearts games, Phoenix Wright: Blah Blah, and Apollo Justice. If you're buying for kids, there are a TON of <$10 games that would make great distractions.

I do not recommend buying used Wii discs even in-store. The slightest chip on the edge will make the disc unplayable and possibly damage your Wii. (yes, even if it is laying flat)

Not really a deal but worth noting-

Another World (ie Out Of This World) is now on Steam for $10. That's $5 too much for me since I still have my SNES cart somewhere. It was one of my favorite games as a kid.

I stopped into Best Buy on my way home to check out their clearance shelves. There was a bunch of DS accessories including official Nintendo stuff. I picked up a Mario pouch for $5. This is YMMV so you just have to drop by and check.

YMMV - I saw ICO collection for $10 @target earlier today. It was on the end-aisle cap amongst various other games. There was a Gears of War triple pack and a bunch of PSP throwaways too.

I'd love to buy PSP throwaways if there was a way to get them on my Vita. Bummer.

Ni No Kuni is $40 @amazon. Hardcover guide is $25. Best Buy price matches.

If you're a fan of fun, like me, there is no reason to NOT buy this.

OTOH, the hardbound strategy guide was a free bonus for me losing out on the Wizards' Edition I ordered back when Namco first announced it. So I guess I came out ahead?

I picked up Ni No Kuni on the way back from work. Won't get to it until the semester's over, but nice to know I can have a retail copy of it.

Ni No Kuni is my favorite game of the year. It will take a great game to dethrone it for GOTY for me.

The way I see it the DS version of Ni No Kuni will be my academic pursuit and then when I play it on PS3 eventually, despite having the same story it will be the relaxing version of the same game =p.

I'd say Bioshock is my GOT so far...but I haven't played that many games this year.

Picked up The Walking Dead in midweek-madness since it was 60% off and I had birthday money and my tax rebate is coming (eventually) too. Figure, as my girlfriend is a zombie fan it would be a good one to play with her as well.

Fatal Frame is $10 on PSN.

Toys R Us clearly has the best deal for Injustice, buy it there and you get a free Injustice Batman action figure and the guide for free. Now I am sad, I want that figure
